A Significant Ring

Copper Sheeting<br />62x56x23

This is an one of my early jewellery design projects – the brief was to design a significant ring using metal sheeting. My interpretation led to the piece above; it uses a minimal singular plane to imbue a sense of evolvement, with the feature placed on the underside to create negative space, and also hold the finger in place. Like I said early days, all I can really remember from this project was how ridiculously hard it was to concertina the metal.. and solder that bead together.
